The evening’s agenda is centered around fostering camaraderie as we get to know one another better. We gather for a hearty dinner in a setting that embodies true American style, ensuring that you have a taste of authentic local cuisine.

For those who still have energy to spare after the long journey, there’s the option to explore a nearby local bar, where you can unwind and enjoy some downtime in a relaxed atmosphere. This initial gathering sets the stage for the adventures that lie ahead and the friendships that will be forged along the way.

Day 2: Los Angeles - San Diego, California

(Driving day 1: 212 km/132 miles)

As soon as all our riders are geared up and ready, we kickstart our adventure on the Golden States Run tour. Leaving Los Angeles in our rearview mirrors, we set off on a captivating journey filled with history, thrills, and excitement. The inaugural riding day offers a blend of urban landscapes, highway stretches, and a scenic cruise along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway 1, leading us to the lively city of San Diego.

To acclimatize everyone to California’s driving conditions and temperatures, we begin at a leisurely pace. After approximately 30 minutes, our first stop is Long Beach, where we conduct an additional safety check of the bikes, equipment, and riders to ensure everything is in prime condition before officially commencing our tour.

Anticipate a delectable lunch at Ruby’s Diner in the picturesque Laguna Beach. Don’t miss out on the old-fashioned milkshakes; they come highly recommended! Following our satisfying meal, we make a direct route to San Diego. Upon arrival, we head to Historic Old Town, where we check into our hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore all the exciting attractions this vibrant city offers. Prepare for a day brimming with adventures and discoveries!

Day 3: San Diego – Palm Springs, California

(Driving day 2: 231 km/145 miles)

Today, we venture into the desert, heading to the renowned Palm Springs, a haven for the rich and famous. Our journey begins by leaving San Diego behind as we pass through Ramona. Along the way, we make a delightful pit stop in Santa Ysabel, known for its delectable homemade pies. Prepare for a mouthwatering treat, but exercise restraint as you won’t want to overindulge. You might even consider getting some extra pies to savor throughout the rest of our tour.

Continuing our route, we traverse the captivating Pines to Palms Highway, offering breathtaking vistas that beckon your cameras to capture the scenery. Our day concludes in the vibrant city of Palm Springs, where we will enjoy an exciting evening together.

Day 4: Palm Springs – Lake Havasu, Arizona

(Driving day 3: 390 km/242 miles)

Today’s journey will take us through captivating desert landscapes. We kick off the day with a ride through the stunning Joshua Tree National Park, known for its extraordinary rock formations and desert scenery. Our route then leads us to Lake Havasu, where we’ll have the pleasure of a scenic ride along the tranquil lake shores before reaching Lake Havasu City. In the evening, you have the option to explore the iconic London Bridge, adding a touch of British charm to our desert adventure.

The route to Oatman boasts narrow, winding roads at varying elevations, surrounded by captivating mountain and desert landscapes, making it a prime location for capturing memorable footage. When you arrive in Oatman, be sure to secure your bikes and keep an eye out for donkeys and the occasional “outlaw” roaming the streets.

We continue our adventure along Route 66 before making our way to Laughlin, where the excitement of casinos and entertainment awaits.
