This journey is branded as an “Adventure Tour,” embodying one of our most extensive excursions that spans the North American continent from coast to coast. Covering approximately 3,800 miles, participants will traverse nine U.S. states and cross three time zones.

The tour comprehensively explores the “Real America,” showcasing its vast beauty and diversity. It is packed with carefully selected experiences and highlights including bustling metropolises, serene ocean views, vast deserts, towering mountains, and expansive prairies, along with some of the most fantastic motorcycle routes and hidden backroads. Once all tour participants have gathered, we’ll come together for a warm welcome meeting, accompanied by refreshments, to kick off our Biketoberfest & Coast to Coast tour. This gathering provides the perfect opportunity for introductions and camaraderie-building among fellow riders.

During this session, you’ll receive essential information about the tour, including practical details and preparations. For those requiring motorcycle rentals, we’ll also cover the checkout process.

The evening’s agenda is crafted to promote a sense of unity as we embark on this thrilling adventure. As we mingle and bond, we’ll enjoy a dinner that epitomizes authentic American cuisine. It’s sure to set the stage for an unforgettable journey across the North American continent, culminating in the excitement of this year’s Biketoberfest.

Day 2: Los Angeles - San Diego

We kick off the day with an informative meeting, providing details about your upcoming adventure on the Coast-to-Coast Tour. This session covers essential information about the tour itinerary, as well as practical details and preparations, including motorcycle and car rental checkouts.

Once everyone is ready to hit the road, we set out on our epic 6,400-kilometer journey. Leaving Los Angeles behind, we head southward, embarking on a unique adventure brimming with history, excitement, and pure enjoyment.

Our first driving day offers a blend of cityscape, highway cruising, and a scenic drive along the legendary Pacific Coast Highway 1 toward vibrant San Diego. We start off at an easy pace to acclimate everyone to California’s driving conditions and temperatures.

After approximately 30 minutes, we make our first stop in Long Beach for an additional security check of the bikes, equipment, and drivers, ensuring a safe start to our tour.

Prepare your taste buds for a delicious lunch at Ruby’s Diner in Laguna Beach, where you can indulge in old-fashioned milkshakes—a highly recommended treat! Following lunch, we continue our journey to San Diego, where we’ll visit Historic Old Town before checking into our hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore and enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer.

Day 3: San Diego - Yuma

Gear up for an extraordinary day of adventure on two wheels! We kick off with an exhilarating journey along the renowned Old Highway 80 and Historic Highway 94. Keep your eyes peeled for the winding roads and breathtaking landscapes that await. As we progress, our route takes us tantalizingly close to the Mexican border, offering a firsthand look at the extensive efforts the US undertakes to secure its boundaries. We’ll even navigate through a border checkpoint, adding a unique twist to our ride.

Next, we ascend to the Desert View Tower, where panoramic views of the valley below promise to mesmerize. Lunch will be enjoyed in Calexico, nestled near the Mexican frontier, providing a flavorful pause to our adventure. The latter half of our day promises to be just as thrilling. We’ll venture through the Imperial Sand Dunes, immersing ourselves in the experience of riding across an authentic sand desert. This unique terrain offers a rare and exhilarating challenge. Our journey then takes us to Yuma, where the evening will be spent soaking up the ambiance of its charming historic district. This day promises to be a memorable highlight, filled with spectacular landscapes and riding experiences.

Day 4: Yuma - Tucson

Our next adventure leads us to the remarkable Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, a stunning showcase of the Sonoran Desert’s unique beauty and biodiversity. After exploring the natural wonders, we’ll stop for lunch near the iconic Space Age Lodge in Gila Bend, offering a quirky and memorable dining experience amidst mid-century modern space-themed décor.

Following our meal, we’ll make our way to downtown Tucson. Here, we’ll dive into some cowboy culture with a shopping excursion at Boot Barn, the perfect place to find all things Western—from boots and hats to apparel fitting for any aspiring cowboy or cowgirl.

Day 5: Tucson - Tombstone

(Driving day 4: 270 km/170 miles)

Welcome to another exhilarating day of motorcycling through some of the most spectacular roads you’ll ever encounter. Our journey begins with an ascent to the summit of Mt. Lemmon, standing proudly at 2,792 meters. The ride up promises unparalleled views and a series of curves that will undoubtedly leave you grinning from ear to ear by the time we reach the top. There, we’ll pause to take in the scenery and enjoy a refreshing drink, savoring the panoramic vistas that stretch out before us.

From the heights of Mt. Lemmon, our adventure continues through the lush landscapes of the Coronado National Forest, leading us into the heart of the old wild west. Our destination is the legendary town of Tombstone, a place that time seems to have left untouched, preserving the essence of the western frontier. Here, we’ll step back in history at the O.K. Corral, the infamous site of the shootout between the Earp brothers and the Clantons, a pivotal event in Wild West lore. We’ll also pay a visit to Boot Hill, the final resting place of some of Tombstone’s most notorious residents, before rounding off our historical journey at the famous Big Nose Kate’s Saloon, where we can soak up the authentic atmosphere of the era.

Day 6: Tombstone - El Paso

Our journey through the old Wild West doesn’t stop in Tombstone; next up is the enchanting town of Bisbee. Nestled in the mountains, Bisbee captivates with its rich mining history, vibrant arts scene, and well-preserved Victorian architecture. It’s a step back in time with a contemporary twist, offering unique insights into the region’s past.

From Bisbee, we venture to a site of profound historical significance, the Geronimo surrender monument. This location, near where the legendary Apache leader Geronimo surrendered, symbolizes the end of Indian warfare in the United States, marking a pivotal moment in American history.

Our ride continues towards Columbus, another historical gem where we’ll explore the site of the Pancho Villa raid and see his death mask. This encounter provides a glimpse into the turbulent times of early 20th-century border conflicts and the complex figure of Pancho Villa himself.

The journey then takes us along the Mexican Border to El Paso. Here, we’re in for a treat as we take the Scenic Drive, offering a mesmerizing view that encompasses two states—Texas in the US and Chihuahua in Mexico. This breathtaking route leads us to a mountain viewpoint, where the vastness of the landscape and the intertwining of cultures are vividly on display.

No visit to El Paso would be complete without stopping at Barnett’s Harley Davidson, home to the world’s largest selection of Harley Davidson motorcycles. It’s a paradise for enthusiasts, offering an unparalleled array of bikes and motorcycle memorabilia.

This leg of our tour blends the allure of the Wild West with significant historical insights and stunning natural beauty, culminating in a visit to a modern-day mecca for motorcycle lovers.

Day 7: El Paso - Alpine

We kick off our day with a journey to the mesmerizing Salt Flats, an expansive and unique landscape that offers a glimpse into nature’s stark beauty. Here, we’ll also make a stop at the Salt Flat Café, a perfect spot to indulge in some local flavors and take in the serene surroundings of this distinctive area.

After leaving the Salt Flats behind, our adventure leads us through the Davis Mountains State Park. This leg of the trip promises breathtaking scenery and a peaceful drive amidst some of Texas’s most beautiful mountain landscapes. The park is known for its wildlife, scenic vistas, and the opportunity to immerse oneself in the tranquility of nature.

The highlight of the day is undoubtedly our spectacular ride by Mt. Livermore as we make our way to Fort Davis. This route offers not only stunning views but also a thrilling riding experience as we navigate the twists and turns with Mt. Livermore as our backdrop.

Our final destination for the day is Alpine. Nestled in the heart of the Big Bend region, Alpine serves as a gateway to West Texas’s vast landscapes and rich history. This charming town marks the perfect end to a day filled with remarkable natural beauty and exhilarating rides.

Day 8: Big Bend National Park

Today is reserved for an immersive exploration of the stunning Big Bend National Park, a true jewel of the American Southwest. We’ll embark on a comprehensive ride through the entirety of the park, ensuring you experience the full spectrum of its natural beauty. From the sprawling desert landscapes to the majestic Chisos Mountains, every mile offers a new vista waiting to be discovered.

Prepare to capture moments of awe at several viewpoints throughout the park. Whether it’s the vast expanse of the Chihuahuan Desert, the Rio Grande carving its path through deep canyons, or the diverse flora and fauna, Big Bend offers unparalleled photographic opportunities. Each stop we make is a chance to soak in the park’s grandeur and perhaps catch a glimpse of the local wildlife, from roadrunners to javelinas.

Day 9: Alpine - Del Rio

Embark on another quintessential Wild West riding adventure as we traverse the vast landscapes of Texas. Our journey today kicks off with a visit to the saloon of the legendary Judge Roy Bean, famously dubbed “the law west of Pecos.” This unique historical site offers a glimpse into the rugged justice system of the old west, where Judge Bean ruled with a blend of wit and wisdom from his saloon-based courtroom. It’s an intriguing start to our day, steeped in the lore and legacy of the frontier days.

Next on our itinerary is the stunning Seminole Canyon, a site renowned for its rich collection of archeological treasures. The canyon walls are adorned with ancient rock art, offering a window into the lives of the Native American peoples who inhabited this region thousands of years ago. It’s a place where history and natural beauty converge, and the panoramic views of the canyon itself are not to be missed. Our journey then leads us to Del Rio, a charming border town where we’ll indulge in the local flavors at the Val Verde Winery. Established in 1883, Val Verde is the oldest bonded winery in Texas, boasting a proud tradition of winemaking that continues to this day. Here, we’ll enjoy a tasting session, sampling a selection of their finest wines. Day 10: Del Rio - San Antonio

Our expedition proceeds along one of the famed Three Sisters roads, pausing periodically to savor the journey. It’s important to note that these roads are beloved by bikers, so we’ll be sharing our adventure with other motorcycle aficionados. Having taken in the essence of the Three Sisters and collected our commemorative patch and t-shirt, we head to Leakey for lunch at a popular biker bar, delving into the heart of local biking culture. The day concludes in San Antonio, where we’ll relax and meander along the enchanting River Walk, wrapping up a day rich in stunning landscapes and fellowship.

Day 11: San Antonio - Galveston

Today, we transition from the inland landscapes to the captivating shores of the US coast. Our journey brings us to Surfside Beach, where we’ll ride alongside the picturesque beaches, soaking in the serene coastal views. Our route then leads us to Galveston, a vibrant city known for its lively coastal atmosphere and popular vacation spots. We’re headed south to immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of the bayous on a boat tour guided by a local Cajun expert. Once we’ve had our fill of adrenaline and have calmed our nerves, our journey takes a scenic turn as we continue our ride along the beautiful coastline toward the enchanting city of New Orleans. We’ll check into our hotel located in the vibrant French Quarter, the heart of the city’s historic core.

After settling into our rooms, we’ll reconvene for a dinner on the iconic Bourbon Street, immersing ourselves in the authentic New Orleans atmosphere. The evening promises an array of sensory delights, from the sounds of jazz and blues to the taste of Creole cuisine. New Orleans, known for its rich cultural tapestry and lively spirit, offers an unmatched setting to enjoy the essence of this dynamic city. Day 14: New Orléans

Today, we dive into the heart of New Orleans, a city celebrated for its captivating blend of cultural influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and beyond. This vibrant mosaic of history, cuisine, and music makes it one of the most intriguing cities globally. Here, the essence of New Orleans comes alive through hearty servings of gumbo, soulful evenings in jazz and blues clubs, historic neighborhoods, and year-round festivals.

Our exploration begins with an optional guided bus tour, offering a comprehensive introduction to the city’s most beloved attractions and a deep dive into its rich history. Following the tour, we set sail on a memorable cruise along the Mississippi River aboard the historic steamboat Natchez, where we’ll also enjoy lunch.

As evening falls, we return to the lively atmosphere of Bourbon Street, ready to immerse ourselves in the plethora of blues and jazz clubs that define the nightlife here. The ambiance is unparalleled, with music that feeds the soul. Revel in the freedom, bask in the sunshine, and navigate the open road’s graceful curves. Our journey culminates with a visit to Destination Daytona, home to the world’s largest Harley Davidson dealer, Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson, boasting a showroom of 109,000 sq. ft. Here, we’ll gather for lunch, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere among fellow enthusiasts and marveling at the extensive collection of motorcycles.

After lunch, we embark on the final leg of our tour, a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences shared and the memories made. It’s time to return our bikes/cars, celebrating the safe and successful conclusion of our fun-filled and eventful journey together.

As we bid farewell to the remarkable journey of America’s Coast to Coast Adventure tour and Orlando, it’s time to head back home. We’ll be traveling together by shuttle to the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable expedition across the diverse landscapes of the United States.
